A community following Jesus and making disciples of all nations.

About Us

Here and Now's focus is on our relationship with Jesus and one another. Rather than religion, we are an authentic community consisting of a handful of individuals from different walks of life and different levels of faith, journeying through life together. We gather for house church on Friday evenings in homes throughout the greater Atlanta area in addition to Sunday morning corporate worship.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”

Mission

We want to reach people for Christ, build them up to be like Christ, and send them out to lead others to Christ.

Vision

Our vision is to see hundreds of hope filled, life giving, love centered, mission focused house churches making disciples of Jesus.

What We Believe

Regarding the Bible

We believe the Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, to be the inspired Word of God, without error in the original writings, the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men, and the Divine and final authority of all Christian faith and life.

Regarding God

We believe in one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect, eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Regarding Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus is true God and true man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins. Further, he arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, where at the right hand of the Majesty on High, He now is our High Priest and Advocate.

Regarding the Holy Spirit

We believe that the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, and during this age to convict men, regenerate the believing sinner, indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the believer for godly living and service.

Regarding Humanity

We believe that human beings were created in the image of God but fell into sin and are therefore lost and only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life be obtained.

Regarding Salvation

We believe that the shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only ground for justification and salvation for all who believe, and only such as receive Jesus Christ are born of the Holy Spirit, and thus become the children of God.

Regarding the Church

We believe that all who have placed faith in Jesus Christ are woven together as One body, the church. The Church is the body of Christ, which Jesus is the head. The purpose of the church is to glorify God by loving Him and by making Him known to the world.
